Dr. David Saper is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon and the founder and director of Edens Orthopaedic Center Ltd. He specializes in non-operative and minimally invasive treatments for sports and orthopedic injuries of the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, and ankle.

Dr. Saper completed medical school and an Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, where he also assisted in caring for University of Chicago athletic teams. He has extensive experience in fracture and trauma care, having spent over five years managing complex injuries at Level 1 trauma centers throughout Chicagoland.

An active educator and researcher, Dr. Saper has presented nationally at leading orthopedic conferences and teaches advanced surgical techniques through the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and the Arthroscopy Association of North America. He has published numerous peer-reviewed studies and serves as a reviewer for The American Journal of Sports Medicine.
