Gabriel S. Levi, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with 20 years of experience, and he is the Director of Joint Reconstruction and Sports Medicine at Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Centers, with locations in Lincoln Square and Wicker Park, Chicago. Dr. Levi has been the named Chicago Magazine Top Doctor and receives the prestigious Castle Connely Top Doctor award year after year since 2019.

Dr Levi specializes in joint replacement and arthroscopic surgeries of the knee, hip, and shoulder. He also has over 20 years of experience with orthopedic trauma. Dr. Levi utilizes the latest advances in orthopedic medicine, including minimally invasive surgery, computer-assisted surgery, AI Assisted Hip Replacements, Robotic Surgery and various methods of cartilage repair and restoration. He has performed thousands of Orthopedic surgeries and his comprehensive approach to pain management makes recovery faster and easier.

Dr. Levi recognizes every patient has a different level of injury to bones and joints and customizes treatment to their unique needs. While he is an expert in helping patients with joint replacement surgery, cartilage repair and ligament reconstruction, he also uses various non-operative and operative treatments to manage symptoms as long as possible before scheduling surgical procedures.

Dr. Levi’s patients have access to a fully staffed physical therapy department onsite at Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Centers for carefully managed care and accelerated recovery.

Dr. Levi earned his medical degree and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Committed to lifelong education, Dr. Levi went on to complete a joint reconstruction and sports medicine fellowship at the prestigious Insall Scott Kelly Institute in New York City.

To facilitate effective communication with his patients, Dr. Levi is fluent in both Spanish and English. He welcomes new and existing patients.
