Dr. Joseph Kim is a board-certified podiatrist and ABLES Board-Certified lower extremity surgeon who has cared for patients in the Chicagoland area for more than 33 years. A graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, he earned his degree from the William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in 1989 and completed his residency at the Illinois Foot and Ankle Institute and Norwegian American Hospital. He has dedicated his career to providing the highest standard of foot and ankle care.

Dr. Kim is skilled in all aspects of clinical and surgical podiatry. He has served as a team physician for local high schools and was the official team doctor for the South Korean national team during the 1994 FIFA World Cup. He has also participated in multiple medical mission trips throughout Central America.

He treats a full range of foot and ankle conditions, including sports injuries, fractures, sprains, diabetic wounds, hammertoes, bunions, calluses, ingrown nails, ganglion cysts, warts, flat feet, and fungal nails.
