He is widely recognized for his expertise in upper extremity and microvascular surgery and has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Fajardo was born and raised in the south suburbs of Chicago. He earned his medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University / The Chicago Medical School in North Chicago, IL. He went on to complete his internship and orthopaedic residency at New York University / Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York City, where he gained extensive experience in both surgical and non-surgical care of the upper extremity. Following residency, he completed an advanced Upper Extremity and Microvascular Surgery Fellowship at the University of California at Davis in Sacramento, CA, where he refined his skills in complex reconstructive procedures.
With a focus on comprehensive, patient-centered care, Dr. Fajardo combines technical expertise with compassionate communication. He works closely with each patient to fully understand their condition, discuss all available treatment options, and provide personalized guidance to achieve the best possible outcomes.
