He earned dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Biomedical Sciences and Psychology from the University of South Florida and completed his medical education at Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine, where he was elected National Alternate Delegate for the American Podiatric Medical Student Association (APMSA). In this leadership role, he contributed to national initiatives supporting the advancement of podiatric medicine.
Dr. Santiago completed his residency at Baptist Health Bethesda East Hospital, serving as Chief Resident in his final year. His research on Total Ankle Replacements earned first place at the Florida Podiatric Medical Association’s Annual SAM Conference. He later completed the Weil Foot & Ankle Institute Fellowship in 2024–2025.
Outside of his clinical work, Dr. Santiago enjoys traveling, exploring new cultures, spending time at the beach, watching sports, and following Formula 1 and hockey with friends and family.
